Baseline provides 5 week interim reports/nine week report cards with information regarding students’ academic and social progress. Baseline distributes weekly newsletters, in English and Spanish, to parents developed with participation of the PTA, principal, staff and parent volunteers. EVALUATE ACSIP/ANNUAL TITLE 1 MEETINGS: Baseline School will provide opportunities for parents to be involved in the development, implementation and evaluation of the school wide school improvement plan, and the Annual Title 1 meeting to engage them in the decision-making processes regarding the school’s Title 1, Part A program: The school enables the formation and installation of a Parent/Teacher Association that will foster parental and community involvement within the school. ANNUAL EVALUATION OF PI PLAN: Baseline School will engage parents in the evaluation of its parental involvement efforts: The school engages parents in the annual evaluation of the Title 1, Part A program’s parental involvement efforts through an annual needs evaluation completed by school staff, parents and teachers. The survey collects specific information about the (1) growth in number of parents participating in workshops and meetings; (2) specific needs of parents; (3) effectiveness of specific strategies; and (4) engagement of parents in activities to support student academic growth.
