Questionnaire #2
(Step 2 of the Bridge Program)
*** Important: read these pages very carefully – and at least twice (two times) -before answering any questions or making any comments.
Introduction




You need to take three steps if you wish to join the Bridge Program* for 2011-12.
(*We’ll simply say ‘BP’ from now on)
 Step 1
Complete and return the Enquiry Questionnaire – you have already done this.
 Step 2
Complete and return this Questionnaire #2. This will help you – and me -- decide
whether the BP is really for you.
 Step 3
In this step you and I will say whether you should proceed any further with BP – and at
what level: Level A or Level B.
This questionnaire
 The questions themselves will help you understand what is needed in BP.



You may complete this questionnaire
either by printing it out, then writing your answers and comments
or by typing your answers and comments directly on to this document
Then you send the completed questionnaire back to me:
either by mailing your written document
or by emailing your typed document as an attachment to an email
This needs to be done within one week of your receiving this questionnaire
Comments



in the questionnaire, in addition to answering questions, you will be asked to make and
write comments. This is an important part of BP – to be creative in what you say
In making a comment you say what you are thinking and how you may be feeling about
the question or your response.
Avoid (do not use) one-word or very short comments (for example, ‘fine’, ‘I liked this
question’, etc)

Instead, use simple, descriptive sentences to tell what you are thinking and how you
may be feeling.
Access to ACU online studies program?





Does participating in BP mean that you will be assured of access to the ACU online
studies program? Definitely not!
But BP will help you prepare for possible selection by ACU.
In 2010 there were 200 applicants who were interview by ACU. Only 40 of these were
chosen.
If you participate successfully in BP then I will give ACU a letter of recommendation
encouraging them to accept you into their online studies program.
The letter will include details of what you have achieved in BP.
Two levels of BP: Level A and Level B




ACU will accept only those students who have completed post-10 studies.
If you have completed post-10 studies (or if you are, this year, doing your final year of
post-10 studies) then you may be accepted into Level A of BP
If you have not completed post-10 studies and you are not doing post-10 studies this
year, then you may be accepted into Level B of BP
Only those students who successfully complete Level A of BP will receive my letter of
recommendation to ACU.

gmail, yahoo or hotmail are easy-to-use services
Your ID (email address) needs to include your name (not your grandmother’s or some
strange combination of letters, words or figures). I need to know exactly who is sending
