Morning Session will last about an hour and a half, and focus on familiarizing participants with the exercises that will be put into practice during the Mounted sessions. Groups of 2-3 riders will be schedule throughout the late mornings and afternoons. The morning sessions are mandatory for participation in the riding sessions, and riders must participate on Saturday to be eligible to ride on Sunday. Who Should Attend? Riders of any discipline and riding level who would like to improve their balance, security, performance, and overall enjoyment of their horse. Intro to Centered Riding & Continuing Centered Riding will be offered. This clinic will provide a great opportunity to tune up your riding for spring! Out of shape horses and riders are welcome! ABOUT THE CLINICIAN Carol O’Donnell Wilson is a certified Level 3 Centered Riding® Instructor and a Guild Certified TTEAM™ Practitioner 2. She has more than 30 years of experience riding, training, competing, teaching and coaching in multiple disciplines of riding. She has studied riding, teaching and horse training techniques under numerous riders and instructors of national and international acclaim. Areas of special interest and education are Classical Riding, Dressage, Hunt Seat and Jumping, Western, Pilates, Centered Riding and TTEAM. Carol has combined her degree in Communications with her years of equine experience and training to develop an effective, fun and supportive learning environment for horse and rider. She specializes in improving performance by teaching riders how to develop a more balanced, centered riding position, how to communicate how horses think and behave. The result is enhanced performance and a harmonious partnership of horse and rider. Carol teaches riders of all disciplines, from novice to advanced, as well as teaching other riding instructors. As she teaches, Carol has a knack for connecting with both horse and rider; identifying and unlocking issues that can help them progress in their performance and partnership. She is clear and concise in her presentations, offering information in ways that students easily understand. Her supportive teaching style and sense of humor combine to create fun with equine education. Carol conducts Centered Riding Clinics and TTEAM workshops around the U.S. as well as teaching lessons and clinics at her own farm. Carol and her husband Chuck, make their home in Meriden, Kansas.
