Decorative Backgrounds
Students will work with embossing folders, stamps, inkpads and
lumier paints to create beautiful backgrounds for cards. We will also
be working with simple dies to finish 5 cards.

Join our informative workshops in a relaxed atmosphere, where you can use our
cutting systems and tools to create wonderful layouts or just finish off your
paper craft project... Cheryl is on hand to offer great design ideas to suit your
projects.
This workshop is ideal for advanced students or beginner crafters.
Cost includes use of 100’s of punchers, cutting systems, templates and glue.

In this class students will make a variety of cards from the stamp and
die sets and learn how to vary their designs to make the most of this
type of set. Students will make at least 5 cards.

Spend the whole day scrapping your favourite photos or making cards or ding
anything that your heart desires. Cheryl is on hand to give expert advice and

We also stock all your mosaic and pottery needs, from 3D handmade and
painted tiles (butterflies, and flowers just to name a few), a huge range of

Join these informative friendly classes where students work at their own pace
on their own projects with guidance from Cheryl Hann-Woodlock.
POTTERYstudents will learn and develop techniques in slaband coil
construction, sculpture, wheel throwing, glazing and decorating techniques.
MOSAICstudents can work on their own projects where Cheryl is on hand
to offer expert advice on glass/tile selection, design concepts and application.
Some projects include, wall mural, sculpture, even architectural. Cheryl has
extensive experience in many aspects of mosaics.
Students must have previous workshop experience to book into this class.

Cheryl Hann-Woodlock has many years experience in the art of Mosaic,
working with a variety of mediums to create unique artworks.
She has created sculptures, huge wall installations, commissions and is
employed as artist in residence. She enjoys the challenge of design,
using colour, texture, a variety of mediums and her own hand made tiles,
to create original works of art. Students will develop technical skill and
artistic confidence under Cheryl’s guidance, whilst receiving
encouragement in all aspects of their individual projects.
Beginners Workshops
These workshops are ideal for beginners who have very little experience
in the art of mosaic. Students will learn about design, and which tools to use
for which project. It is also a great class for those wishing to individualise
their artwork. Bookings availability is limited due to class sizes.

Half payment of workshops is required by all students when booking into any adult
workshops. This deposit is NON-REFUNDABLE.
Clay, materials and firings are NOT included in the costs of the classes, allow
approximately $60:00. Firing costs are $6:50 per kilo per firing. Gloss firings may
incur extra charges depending on the piece... Clays and materials can be purchased
from the studio
THE MUD CLUB
Children’s Pottery
Classes
These classes are designed for children between 5 to 12 years of age (usually of primary
school age). In these sessions we encourage creative and personal development whilst
also nurturing artistic confidence and self-esteem using clay as the medium. They will
hand-build as well as have the opportunity to work on the potter’s wheel. The classes
are small, a maximum of 12 students per. session

Make and decorate your own hand made tiles, lay, glue, cut, nip and grout

We can help you do something special and different for your child’s birthday.

POTTERY PARTY 1 ½ hours
Children will make hand built sculptural pieces designed to suit the interests of your
child: ie- fish, fairies, monsters, or choose your own theme. All pieces will be fired
approx 2 weeks.
AGES: From 4 year old kinder and upwards.
MINIMUM: 12 Children max 18 children.
COST: $16:50 per child.
WHAT A MUG 2hrs
Have a great time with your friends designing and painting your own hand thrown
bowl and mug. Pieces will be ready to take home in about 2 weeks.
AGES: From 8 yrs of age upward, ideal for teenagers.
MAXIMUM: 18 children, Min 10 children.
COST: $25:00 per child. Includes all materials.
POTTERY WHEEL PARTY 2HRS
Children will learn how to throw pots a potter’s wheel and do some cool hand
building All pieces will be fired and ready to pick up in approx 2 weeks.
AGES: From school age and upwards.
MINIMUM: 12 Children max 18 children.
COST: $22:00 per child.
MOSAIC MADNESS 2hrs
Learn how easy mosaic is and make your own wall plaque to take home. A great fun
activity for the young adult looking for something different.
AGES: From 8 yrs of age up-wards, ideal for teenagers.
MINIMUM: 10children, maximum of 18 children.
COST:
$25:00 per child. Includes all materials.

Cost: $350:00 for 8weeks Includes all materials.

Mosaic Table Top 6 week course
A mosaic table with a difference. The centre is hand-made tiles which you
make!! A beautiful table top that will impress everyone. Learn the techniques of
mosaics from tile cutting and nipping to grouting and those finishing touches.
Cost: $280:00 for 6 weeks Includes all materials and firings.
Students may begin at a later date subject to availability.
Places are limited for all our workshops.
Bookings are essential to ensure placements.
A deposit of half the cost of the course is required which is
NON-refundable.
FUNKY FISH 2hrs
Paint a hand-made funky fish with ceramic paints. You can choose from a variety of
styles. The funky fish will be ready to take home in approximately two weeks.
AGES: From school age and upwards.
MINIMUM: 10 children, maximum 18 children.
COST: $18:00 per child. Includes all materials.

PARTY IDEAS ON DISPLAY IN OUR STUDIO
A food table is provided with a tablecloth, plates, bowls, cups and spoons. Due to
health regulations we cannot cater. We recommend a simple fair of potato chips,
lollies and the like. Tea and coffee facilities are available for the birthday child
parents’. Please wear clothes that can get dirty. Children must wear runners or
boots. Children wearing other foot attire cannot participate in workshops.
NO sandals, thongs, crocs, slip-on ballet type shoes and the like are to be worn
during any party/workshops.
BOOKINGS
Due to popular demand our vacancies are limited and usually require two weeks notification.
Choose a time to suit you: weekends, after school or evenings.
A deposit of $50:00 is required to secure your desired date. We accept cash, cheques, and
most major credit cards over the phone.
Deposits are NON-REFUNDABLE.
Balance is paid on the day of the party.
