You must follow curriculum requirements for the major in effect
at the time you entered the program. You must remain a current
student to follow that year's curriculum. You may opt to follow a
more recent curriculum with permission of one of the program
supervisors.
You must have a "C" or better in all required degree courses (this
includes University Requirements and Basic Related Courses).
Cannot be taken CR/NC.
It is the student's responsibility to see that all prerequisites for a
course are met in order to assure receipt of credit for the course.
You may repeat a course one time. If an additional repetition is
required, you must submit a request in writing to the academic
advisor in the Department of Criminal Justice and Forensic
Sciences prior to registration. Final approval rests with the
respective Chair and respective Dean.
Forensic Science majors must maintain a 2.5 GPA overall. If the
GPA drops below a 2.5 for two consecutive semesters, students
will be removed from the program until the GPA is brought up to
standard.

1510B may be required due to placement tests, but hours do not
count as degree hours.
A minimum of 30 semester hours must be taken at YSU.
