In our increasingly complex and busy lives
we can end up feeling overwhelmed,
stressed, or anxious. We cannot eliminate
stress from our lives, but we can learn
how to deal more effectively with it and
reduce the impact that it can have.
During this course you will learn a variety
of skills and strategies including
relaxation/mindfulness techniques,
assertive communication, untwisting
negative thinking, time management, and
lifestyle changes. The course will aim to
be fun and supportive as well as
informative, and hopefully life-changing!
01/02/2016
Printmaking is a relaxing process that
doesn't rely on great artistic ability but
uses ideas, texts and colour to make a
statement. It offers equal elements of
control and surprise. This course gives
you the opportunity to explore simple
printing techniques such as mono
printing, lino printing, block printing and
screen printing. We will use different
materials such as paper, t-shirts, teatowels and re-cycled textiles to print
onto. Printmaking promotes relaxation
and well-being by working with colour,
allowing you to express creativity and
simply by enjoying the process. Come
along and make your mark! Suitable for
beginners and those with experience.
