In Progress Awaiting formal notice of approval.

In Progress An RFP is in process to secure services from an outside vendor for development of a website and print materials. Review of responses expected in next few weeks.

Initiated RTI is prepared to deliver a short introduction to consortium CEOs on Sept 16 th . They will conduct site visits of 6 colleges the week of October 20th. Those visits are being planned now.

In progress Colleges preferred to halt a unified approach to identifying a common online instructional platform, preferring instead to make monies available to lead colleges that needed to modernize delivery platforms

Initiated to meet the “best practice” parameters of the grant.

Grant Coordinators and Navigators are in place (with one exception due to resignation of navigator).

In progress Reporting is fine, though some colleges have not yet turned in 9130 to GFC MSU. Reports indicate more attention is needed to spending down budgets appropriately.

In progress A draft of the Scorecard data has been prepared.

Intention is to send out first Scorecard sometime this fall.

10 LMI Scorecard USDOL mandated report on all programs’ outcomes at all consortium member colleges. Intent is to also analyze alignment of programs with real-time job openings in each region.

In Progress Identifying an appropriate instructor has remained a challenge to implementation. A promising candidate has been hired – implementation agenda in process with an expectation to pilot programming at CC in

October. BNSF intends to hire 300+ conductors in the next year which could be an outstanding opportunity for this program.

In Progress Gaps analysis is underway to help align planned CAS programs at Helena and MSUN with AED credentials.

Faculty may consider breaking down whole AAS program into smaller industry-certificate chunks to be more flexible to industry needs.

In Progress Conversations about Tier 2 underway. First cohort of students served at GFCMSU. Second NCCER training to be held Aug 26-27 in Helena.

In Progress Fabrication Tier 1 is same as Welding Tier 1. Will bifurcate after that point.

In Progress Tier 1 programs have been primed for fall delivery with some students making use of the course-sharing framework created by SWAMMEI. FVCC has almostall-online delivery for Tier 1. Six faculty completed elements of NIMS level 1 training. A state-rate for introduction of the NIMS credentials into programs has been negotiated with NIMS. Business-oriented

NIMS presentation available on GFC MSU website for next 25 days at https://gfcmsu.webex.com/gfcmsu/ ldr.php?RCID=99bd04a9fb2e8b22df356342285d341a
