Word of the Day
aide-memoire
Remind Me: Word of the Day:
Today's word shouts out one of its meanings, while giving no clue to the other. An aide-memoire as
either something that serves as an aid to memory, or a written summary of some agreement,
proposal, or action. You may need an aide-memoire to remember the final Es on both components
of this word, since English has words formed from both parts without the E's.
