+Maria Ruebens, grandmother of Dr. Hellen Mardaga, Assistant Professor, Theology

+Neil Godleski, a senior, majoring in biology, passed away August 22, 2010. The family
will receive friends on Wednesday, August 25, 2010 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the
Magner Funeral Home, 12 Mott Avenue, Norwalk, CT. A Funeral Mass will be held on
Thursday, August 26, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Philip Church, 1 Father Conlon Place,

+Professor Parfeny Saworotnow, Professor Emeritus of The Department of
Mathematics in the School of Arts and Sciences, passed away on August 15, 2010. The
Panikhida (the memorial service on the evening before the burial) will be held at the
Russian Orthodox Cathedral of St. John the Baptist, 4001 – 17th Street, NW,
Washington, DC 20011 at 6:30 p.m. The burial service will take place at the Russian
Orthodox Cathedral of St. John the Baptist on Friday, August 20 at 10:00 a.m. After the
service, the procession will proceed to the Rock Creek Cemetery. He is survived by his
brother and four nieces.
+Dr. Kim Hyun Deok Foreman, mother of Zachary Foreman, a doctoral student in the
School of Philosophy, passed away on Wednesday, August 4, 2010. Messages of
