Staff training occurs Tuesday, June 30 th through Thursday, July 2 nd . All staff members, including interns, are expected to attend Staff Training. Classes run from July 6 th , 2015 through August

20 th . Please indicate dates you would be unavailable for training or work:

Give examples of how you can be responsible in a work situation i.e. babysitting, teaching, coaching younger kids and experience in the program as a camper or staff member, sports experience (sailing, swimming, tennis AND other team sports) and any other skills that apply.

Notes for NEW AND RETURNING STAFF:

Hiring preference will be given to applicants that meet the following:

 Available for the full duration of the Junior Program Season including Staff Training Week

 Have certifications in CPR for Professional Rescuers, First Aid, WSI and/or Life Guarding with

Waterfront Module, US Sailing Level I, US Sailing Level II Instructor

 Completed Applications received by the January 15 th due date

Exhibited strong performance as a 2014 staff member. This includes:

 Commitment to safety and well-being of children and staff at all times

 Dedication to the NLGYC and the Junior Program

 Ability to work well with others

 Head Swimming Instructor (Life Guarding and Waterfront Module required, CPR for
