2016 Positions We are looking forward to a fantastic, fun-filled Greek Week 2016!!!! Greek Week is a time to promote a little HEALTY competition. Along with the social and entertainment aspects of Greek Week, there is a strong emphasis on joining together as brothers and sisters to give back. Greek Week 2016 is scheduled for April 4th - April 8th, and the Steering Committee will help plan and execute all aspects of Greek Week. Below you will find a brief description of all available positions on the Steering Committee. We are in need of energetic, creative, and motivated Greeks to serve. Along with what is mentioned in the descriptions, these coordinators will be responsible for overseeing their own respective committees when applicable and delegating the work that has to be done. The positions are as follows: Greek Week Co-Chair (one person per council): Work with Coordinator of Greek Life to select Greek Week Steering Committee Coordinate all committees. Oversee all Greek Week Steering Committee Meetings Develop Overall Greek Week Schedule and work with chairs to clear up discrepancies Develop Overall Greek Week Scoring System with input from chairs Investigate theme possibilities and present a narrow list to the steering committee for voting Track Greek Week scoring throughout the week Public Relations Coordinators (2): Work with T-Shirt Chair to develop a logo to be used throughout the week, in coordination with the theme. Get publicity out about the week’s events, provide constant score updates via social media, and any other publicity needed Contacting campus newspaper, social media, radio station, etc. Greek Week Philanthropy/Community Service Coordinators (2): Work with Volunteer ASU to carry out ASU Day of Service in conjunction with Greek Week Develop and implement ideas for philanthropy projects throughout the week of Greek Week Work with PR to publicize the service completed during this week Greek Week T-Shirt Coordinator: Work with companies to design 2016 Greek Week T-shirt based on the theme/pricing for T-shirts Track T-shirt orders Develop and Implement a plan for collection of T-Shirt money Develop and Implement a plan for T-shirt distribution Greek Week Secretary/Treasurer: Develop budget for Greek Week with consultation from Coordinator of Greek Life Prepare minutes of Greek Week steering committee meetings Oversee all Greek Week funds Develop, print, and distribute 2016 Greek Week Rules Booklet.
