La Manga Tennis Centre, Murcia, Spain, Tennis Coach, April 2008 to October 2010.
Working in such a large tennis centre has allowed me to experience many different types of players and
therefore I have needed to develop my communication skills in order to help each and every player
reach their potential. Additionally working predominately on clay has challenged me to change my
coaching methods and styles to help educate players on the fundamental strategies and techniques
associated on this surface. A key role that I undertook at La Manga was being part of a team of 3
coaches who headed up the Pro Academy, which is an intensive academy designed for performance
players, my roles included; designing and implementing programs, on court technical and tactical
demonstrations, organizing large groups of players, tournament running and educating other coaches. I

the club from whom I learnt a lot.
