The project will focus on the career and family expectations of women and men in the early stages of corporate careers and will address the question of whether recent graduates are equipped with realistic understandings of the challenges associated with achieving the elusive “balance” between career progression and family life. Main contribution with be literature and policy review. 2010–2013: PhD studentship – University of Leeds Work-life balance for those that live alone. This research is exploring the work-life attitudes and experiences of young professional and managerial employees who live alone.
