The Pythagorean Theorem
Unit Overview
Students understand the Pythagorean Theorem and its converse and can explain why the Pythagorean thm holds. Apply the Pythagorean thm
to find distance between points on the coordinate plane. Students apply volume formula for cones, cylinders, and spheres.
Length of unit: 20 days
