You hold a conditional or unconditional offer from Plymouth University for September 2015 entry. You’re coming to Plymouth University to join one of our degree programmes within Plymouth Graduate School of Management or School of Computing and Mathematics at postgraduate taught level. You’re a self-funded student and not in receipt of an official government, company or any other scholarship. You have the required grades or marks from an undergraduate degree, which is equivalent to a UK honours degree as defined by UK NARIC. You must have supplied us with your results in an acceptable and verifiable format, for example if we’ve requested certified copies or original documents you must supply these. Terms and conditions You can only be in receipt of one scholarship or discount from Plymouth University, and it’s only valid for entry in the current academic year. If you’re awarded a GREAT Britain Scholarship, after already being offered scholarship one or another discount, you’ll only be awarded the higher value scholarship. Scholarships awarded cannot be deferred. If you’re offered a scholarship and wish to defer your start date, you must re-apply for the scholarship and may not be awarded. Award of scholarships can only be made if completed applications and supporting documents are submitted before any deadline stipulated, and if scholarships are still available to award at that time. Any offer of scholarship can only be awarded once you’ve completed the scholarship application process, and once Plymouth University has confirmation that your qualifications meet the eligibility criteria (for all scholarships). We’ll only confirm your scholarship award once all the conditions of your offer have been satisfactorily met, and your deposit has been received. At this point we’ll issue your unconditional offer letter and CAS number (if applicable) and will confirm to the UK Borders Agency the amount of fees you must pay. The scholarship value is in pounds sterling. The scholarship, if awarded, will be deducted from the overall tuition fee that you’re liable to pay, and this will be reflected on your unconditional offer letter / CAS statement (the document that is your unconditional offer and must be used when applying for your visa). The scholarship award can’t be used as a partial deposit or tuition fee payment, or in lieu of a deposit payment. You can only be awarded a GREAT Britain Scholarship if you are a degree student enrolled on your course at the University. Students who are not enrolled, exchange students, students studying only part of the postgraduate course, or students studying a master programme awarded by Plymouth University but delivered at a partner college, (such as Greenwich School of Management or Schumacher College) are not eligible to apply for these scholarships. Plymouth University’s decision on the awarding of GREAT scholarships is final. Students may be requested to submit additional documentation in support of their scholarship application. Details of the successful recipients will be shared with the British Council so that evaluation/reporting and impact assessment can be done by the British Council. Successful recipients will be expected to provide profile and alumni details to support the British Council’s future work in India.
