These areas are: recognition of the signs and symptoms of child abuse or neglect and the employee’s duty to report suspected abuse and neglect; review of the center’s operational policies; review of adequate supervision of children, taking into account their age, emotional, physical, and cognitive development; maintaining a safe and healthy environment; developmentally appropriate activities for school-age children.
