The course will introduce American society and fundamentals of U.S. history, government, culture, and popular culture. As an elective, participants can choose from either English for Professional Success or English Teaching Mini-Practicum. This program enables students to apply critical thinking as they prepare for further higher education or an international career. The course is taught by current and former higher-education administrators who bring their own personal knowledge and experience. Participants will be able to bring their own professional experience to the theories and concepts presented in the core seminar.
