2016 Scholarship Application Form
The Pacific NorthWest Art School is offering the following scholarships for the
2016 workshop year. Deadline to apply is March 1, 2016. Scholarship funds are
for tuition only. Students are responsible for travel, lodging, meals and any
supply/material fees.






$1000 Photography Scholarship*
$500 Betty Jane Miller Scholarship (for watercolor painters)
$500 Joyce Davies Scholarship (for watercolor painters)
$300 Fiber Art Scholarship
$200 Joan Brosnahan Scholarship (for painters or mixed media artists)
Dick and Margaret Elam Scholarship (for maritime/landscape painters)**

*The photography scholarship in the amount of $1000 is available to all
photographers who have a passion for photography. It is applicable to any
photography workshop offered at the Pacific NorthWest Art School. If the
selected workshop tuition is less than $1000, the remaining funds will be added
to future years’ scholarship.
**The Dick and Margaret Elam Scholarship offers ½ of tuition for the following
qualified workshops:










Painting Skies and Reflections in Oil or Pastel with Michael Story
(September 7-11, 2016)
Understanding Simplification and Massing for Landscape Painters
(Oil/Acrylic) with Mitch Albala (October 1-2, 2016)
Powerful Tools for Powerful Paintings with Gloria Miller Allen (October 6-9,
2016)
Splash Color Workshop with Ming Franz (October 24-28, 2016)
