You are welcome to visit the University departments and facilities that are open during the morning
11.30
Coffee in the Chemical Engineering Atrium (1st floor) and an opportunity to mingle. The
Chemical Engineering building is marked Y11 in the Yellow Zone of the campus map. The entrance is
in the middle of the East side (facing the rear of Civil/Mechanical Engineering)
12.00 The 104th Annual General Meeting, including elections and a report from the recipient of the
Alumni Award
13.00 Buffet lunch. If you wish to book Lunch, please include a cheque (£17.00** per person includes morning coffee, wine or juice, after-lunch coffee and tea and afternoon tea and biscuits) to
the University of Birmingham Guild of Graduates and Alumni Association.
14.30 Chris Banks, CBE, Deputy Pro-Chancellor, will talk about current issues facing the University
and future strategy. Chris is an alumnus of the University and a member of the Association.
15.30 Time for a walk around the campus or a ‘natter’.
16.00 Tea in the Atrium
** Discount for ‘out-of-towners’ With funds made available at the winding-up of the Manchester
Branch, GGAA is able to offer a reduction to £10 for those attending from outside the Midlands Area
(defined as the counties of West Midlands, Stafford, Warwick, Worcester, Hereford and Salop).


