This form must be completed for all courses, unless an exemption from the Course and Curriculum
Restructure and Renewal (C2R2) process has been approved by the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic).
Significant changes proposed to a course that are additional to changes mandated by the C2R2 process
(e.g. introduction of an entirely new area of study) must be submitted on the standard Significant Change to
a Course form and proceed through the standard course approval process.
Where a Course Management Committee (or Board of Studies) or School determines that the most
appropriate way to report on the curriculum renewal checklist (see Section B below) and program of study
(see Section C below) for a particular course is at the level of significant course components (e.g. major
sequences, specialisations, streams), a separate Significant Course Component Form (Form B) should be
completed for each significant course component and attached to this form.
