Tips & Reminders

reschedule with anesthesia. If you need to contact the attending anesthesiologist
managing the E list directly, page, 31581.
2. Patients undergoing anesthesia must be able to give consent, or if unable, consent
has to be obtained by the next of kin, etc. In order to facilitate this and prevent
delays, list the contact info for the consenting person on the requisition form.
3. The expected timing for completion of an anesthesia assisted radiological test is
24 hours. MRI tests may require 1-2 days from time of ordering until completion.
In order for further troubleshooting of this process, problems may be reported by email to
Lauren Carr (Quality Analyst) and Sue Vega for further review.
