hereinafter referred to as “Student.”
Section 1
1. This Agreement sets forth the terms and conditions of payment a programme of study
and educational services provided as part of a full-time undergraduate/graduate* degree
programme conducted at the Faculty of ................................, in the field of
................................, with a general academic profile.
2. The terms and conditions of study are set forth in the Rules of higher education at the
Tadeusz Kościuszko Cracow University of Technology, hereinafter referred to as “Rules
of Study.”
3. The terms of charging tuition fees and the manner and terms of full or partial exemption
from the tuition fees are defined in the Rules for charging fees for the provision of
educational services as part of undergraduate and graduate degree programmes at the
Cracow University of Technology, hereinafter referred to as “Rules for Charging Fees,”
binding upon the Student entering into this Agreement.
Section 2
The University of Technology shall ensure the Student the following:
1. Implementation of the education programme, acquisition of undergraduate/graduate*
degree qualifications: that is, achievement of educational results, award of a

professional title on the terms set forth in this Agreement, the Rules of Study and the
Rules for Charging Fees;
Courses conducted by academic instructors having educational and academic
qualifications;
Access to classrooms, laboratories and workplaces;
Financial support granted in accordance with the terms set out in the Rules for
determining the amount of, granting and providing financial aid for students of the
University of Technology;
Observance of the student’s rights defined in the Act of July 27th 2005 – Law on
Higher Education (Dz.U. of 2012, item 572, as amended), the Articles of Association
of the Cracow University of Technology and the Rules of Study.
Section 3
1. The Student undertakes to act in accordance with the content of the oath and to
observe internal regulations of the University of Technology, in particular the Rules of
Study and the Rules for Charging Fees.
2. The Student hereby confirms that he or she has read the Rules of Study and the
Rules for Charging Fees.
3. The Student confirms that he or she has been advised that all internal regulations of
the University of Technology, the amounts of the necessary costs to be incurred for
the provision of educational services as part of the degree programmes and the
tuition fees for the degree programmes or educational services are available at the
website of the Faculty/University of Technology.
Section 4
1. Pursuant to Art. 99.1 of the Act of July 27th 2005 – Law on Higher Education (Dz.U.
of 2012, item 572, as amended), the University of Technology shall charge tuition
fees for the provision of educational services related to:
1) the education of students in part-time study programmes;
2) the education of students in full-time study programmes in the case of a student’s
second or subsequent full-time programme of study;
3) the education in full-time study programmes in the case of attending courses
outside the additional limit of ECTS credits;
4) the repeat of certain courses due to unsatisfactory academic performance;
5) the programme of study conducted in a foreign language;
6) the provision of courses not included in the programme curriculum
2. The tuition fee related to:
1) the first semester of a part-time programme of study;
2) the first semester of a second or subsequent full-time programme of study;
3) the first and the second semester of a second full-time programme of study in the
case of failure to satisfy the criteria for receiving the Rector’s scholarship for the
best students, referred to in the Rules for determining the amount of, granting and
providing financial aid for students of the Cracow University of Technology,
subject to Art. 174.4 of the Act of July 27th 2005 – Law on Higher Education
(Dz.U. of 2012, item 572, as amended);
4) the first semester of a programme of study conducted in a foreign language;
5) the educational services referred to in Section 4.1, items 3, 4, and 6,
shall be paid by the Student on a one-off basis, by a deadline specified in a separate
agreement referred to in Section 6.2.
3. The tuition fees for the provision of educational services referred to in Section 4.1,
items 1, 2 and 5, for the subsequent semesters, may be paid on a one-off basis or in
three equal instalments, by the following deadlines:
1) for the winter semester
a) the first instalment – by October 1st,
b) the second instalment – by November 1st,
c) the third instalment – by December 1st,
2) for the summer semester
a) the first instalment – by the last day of the registration period for the summer
semester,
b) the second instalment – by April 1st,
c) the third instalment – by May 1st.
4. The fees referred to in Section 4.1, items 1, 2 and 5, shall be binding upon the
Student in amounts introduced by virtue of a decision of the Rector of the University
of Technology determining the tuition fees for the academic year in which the Student
begins his or her programme of study. The University of Technology may not change
the amounts of the tuition fees referred to in Section 4.1, items 1, 2 and 5, in the
subsequent years of study, except when a person is accepted to a programme of
study by way of resuming the study or changing the field of study/faculty.
5. The fees referred to in Section 4.1, items 3, 4 and 6, shall be binding upon the
Student in amounts introduced by virtue of a decision of the Rector of the University
of Technology determining the tuition fees for the academic year in which the Student
uses a given educational service. The University of Technology may change the
amounts of the tuition fees referred to in Section 4.1, items 3, 4 and 6 in the
subsequent years of the programme of study.
6. The Student may be removed from the register of students, in accordance with the
Rules of Study, if he or she fails to pay the tuition fees for the provision of educational
services by the University of Technology by the deadlines referred to in Sections 4.2
and 4.3.
7. Statutory interest shall accrue on the fees for the provision of educational services
referred to in Section 4.1, items 1–6, which have not been paid by the deadlines
referred to in Sections 4.2 and 4.3. The interest shall accrue from the day following
the payment deadline and shall be rounded to the nearest złoty. Interest below one
PLN shall be omitted.
8. A Student who has been partially exempted from the fee, based on a decision issued
by a competent authority of the University of Technology, shall pay the reduced fee
by the deadlines referred to in Sections 4.2 and 4.3.
9. The date of crediting the University of Technology’s bank account shall be regarded
as the payment date.
10. The Student shall pay the fee for the educational services to his or her own virtual
account generated in the electronic system used for handling administrative
procedures relating to the course of study at the University of Technology.
Section 5
1. This Agreement has been executed for the duration of the degree programme
referred to in Section 1.1, that is from ..................... to ...................... .
2. Before the lapse of the period referred to in Section 5.1, this Agreement shall expire
on the date on which the Student submits a written resignation from the studies or on
the date on which the Student is removed from the register of students on the basis of
and in the manner specified in the Rules of Study.
3. Resumption of study after a hiatus shall require the execution of a new agreement.
4. The Student shall be entitled to reimbursement of the tuition fee paid for the degree
programme or educational services, in whole or in part, in the cases referred to in
Section 5.2, on the terms set out in the Rules for Charging Fees.
5. In the case of extending the duration of the degree programme referred to in Section
5.1 for reasons specified in the Rules of Study, the term of this Agreement shall be
extended accordingly.
Section 6
1. The University of Technology shall not charge any fees for the programme of study or
educational services provided as part of the undergraduate/graduate degree
programme* other than the fees specified in Section 4.1 hereof.
2. Fees for the degree programmes or educational services referred to in section 4.1
shall be regulated under a separate agreement.
Section 7
1. Correspondence related to this Agreement shall be sent to the Student’s address of
residence indicated in this Agreement. The Student shall be obliged to notify the
University of Technology in writing of any changes to his or her address or personal
data within seven days from the date when the change occurs.
2. If the new address is not provided, correspondence sent to the last address known to
the University of Technology shall be deemed effectively delivered.
Section 8
1. Any matters not provided for in this Agreement shall be governed by the Rules of
Study, the Rules for Charging Fess and relevant provisions of the Polish Civil Code.
2. Any changes to the terms of this Agreement shall be made in writing in the form of an
annex. Otherwise, said changes are null and void.
Section 9
1. Any disputes arising out of this Agreement shall be settled amicably. Should no
agreement be reached, the dispute shall be settled by a competent court of general
jurisdiction.
Section 10
1. This Agreement has been made in duplicate, one for each party.
