Luther King House Educational Trust – Timetable 2009-10
Luther King House Educational Trust 2009-10 DRAFT Timetable
To be able to read this timetable you also need to look at the Academic Year Planner.X:\Timetables\2009 -2010 LKH
Timetables
The year will commence with a period for enrollment and registration. Those students taking the Foundation Degree will
commence the year in week beginning 21st September with block taught versions of Learning Theologically Together (new
starters) or Understanding our Tradition (second year returners/those with APL). Teaching for the BA and MA programme will
also commence on 21st September. Watch out for clashes with denominational tutors teaching on Understanding our Tradition
and the BA/MA programme.
Week commencing 28th September will see a move the teaching pattern detailed below which will continue until 8th December
where the FDA students will study the second part of the block Learning Theologically Together or Understanding our
Tradition . Colleges will need to look at where there are staff overlaps on Tuesday and Wednesday 8th and 9th December.
All students return after Christmas on 12th January. All continues to run in parallel with both courses breaking for Easter on 17 th
March.
After Easter the third part of Learning Theologically Together or Understanding our Tradition is taught on 27th and 28th April,
without any danger of clashes because BA teaching resumes on 4 th May. We have not discussed this but it would seem
sensible for MA Monday teaching only to resume on 26th April to cover the day missed by the May Bank Holiday but it
is far too complicated to show this visually without resort to the giant calendar.
Changes to the Timetable
As in any small institution timetables are dependent on individual members of staff. LKHET reserve the right to make changes
to the timetable if availability of staff make this necessary
