VERY IMPORTANT INFORMATION
PLEASE READ AND TAKE NOTE
NAÍSCOIL AN IÚIR – RAFFLE TICKETS.
Recently raffle tickets were sent home for Naíscoil an Iúir Easter Draw – can you
please return tickets and funds by Wednesday, 29th March.
BILLS/PAYMENTS
Bills for February were sent out late… apologies. Can you please clear these up
immediately so that dinners can be cleared, and staff in the Club Iarscoil paid. March
bills will go out shortly.
COUNTY PHOTOS – WED 10TH APRIL.
The school photographer will be here on Wednesday, 10th April to take photos of the
children, family, rang a1 agus rang a7 photographs. Children must be in their full
uniform (everyday!).
SCHOOL NURSE
Forms have been sent home to parents of children in Rang a1 – you must complete
and return immediately. The school nurse will be in to see children from rang a1
Thursday and Friday 11th and 12th April. They will not see children with no forms.
FEIS
Parents who entered children in to the Feis will have received their ‘feis competitors
entry ticket’. This was sent home from the Bunscoil last week. You must keep this
safe, as you cannot enter the Feis without it. Parents will bring their own children to
the Feis, note: The Feis Child Protection Policy is here at the school if you want to
have a look at it.
YOUNG ENTERPRISE WEDNESDAY, 29TH MARCH
Children from rang a5 will take place in workshops provided by Young Enterprise
here at Bunscoil an Iúir, this is an ongoing programme and they will be in again.
HOLY COMMUNION
Children from rang a5/a6/a7 have been invited to take part in the choir for the
children making their Holy Communion this year – Saturday, 20th April. Forms have
been sent home – please complete and return to the Bunscoil immediately so that
we have an idea of the numbers of children taking part. The children in the choir are
currently preparing for Holy Communion and the singing is beautiful.
CLOSURES
The Bunscoil closes on Thursday, 28th March at 11am and re-opens to children on
Tuesday, 9th April.
Close Thursday 2nd May at regular times and opens Wednesday 8th May at 8.15am
