On-line Grade Changes Instructors will be able to change grades through their Faculty Center once grades have been approved and posted for spring 2014. Steps: Log into MY.CSUDH.EDU Click on Faculty Center If needed, change your term to the correct term Click on the Grade Roster icon next to the class. Once the Grade Roster has loaded, click the “Request Grade Change” button. Within the “Official Grade” column, use the drop-down box to change the grade of a particular student. Refer to the following list of approved instructional grades to determine which grade to assign: APPROVED INSTRUCTIONAL GRADES A, A-, B+, B, B-, C+, C, C-, D+, D, F, I (Incomplete Contracts will be required when submitting your grade roster. THE FOLLOWING GRADES ARE TO BE USED FOR APPROVED COURSES ONLY CR (Credit) for approved courses only NC (No Credit) for approved courses only RP (Report in Progress) for approved courses only – not to be used in place of Incomplete grade If a student is currently attending your class and his or her name does not appear on your class roster or grade roster in MY.CSUDH.EDU, please contact Admissions and Records at extension 3645. Students will not receive credit for your course unless they are officially enrolled. Credit by Examination Names of students who took a course for Credit by Examination early in the semester remain on the roster with the grade they earned on the examination. If you have questions regarding grades assigned earlier, please contact Records and Registration at extension 3645. Credit/No Credit If a student has elected the Credit/No Credit option or if the course is only offered as CR/NC, then this will be the only option that will appear when you assign the grades. A letter grade cannot be assigned for students selecting this option. Drop or Withdrawal After Census For those students who have officially withdrawn from courses after the deadline, grades of “W” have been assigned and will appear on the roster. “W” grades cannot be assigned by faculty. To facilitate the expeditious processing of Spring 2014 graduates and the timely release of official transcripts including spring grades, faculty are requested to submit grades as early as possible and no later than 3:00 p.m. on the Wednesday May 21, 2014.
