OCT. 14 (Wednesday) – 8th Grade PARENTS’ CONFIRMATION MEETING
Time: 7:30PM – 9:30PM ---- Location: Zoeller Center / church basement --- Kindly bring fresh fruits or baked goods to share. In case of
inclement weather, this meeting will be moved to OCTOBER 21 (Wednesday) same time & location.
OCT. 19 (Monday) – PARENTS ARE SPECIAL – OPEN HOUSE DAY for all parents of grades 1st through 8th.
Time: 4:30PM – 6:00PM. All parents whose children attend Monday classes are invited to join us for our Open House. Come join us for our
Gathering Prayer in the church at 4:30PM, have some coffee, tea, hot chocolate, and baked goods in the gymnasium, then feel free to visit
your child’s classroom and see what the children are learning in class Parents meet their children’s catechists on this day.
OCT. 20 (Tuesday) – PARENTS ARE SPECIAL – OPEN HOUSE DAY for all parents of grades 1st through 8th.
Time: 4:30PM – 6:00PM. All parents whose children attend Tuesday classes are invited to join us for our Open House. Come join us for our

Nov. 4 (Wednesday) – 2nd Grade PARENTS' RECONCILIATION MEETING
Time: 7:30PM-9:30PM ---- Location: Zoeller Center / church basement --- Kindly bring fresh fruits or baked goods to share. In case of
inclement weather, this meeting will be moved to November 5th (Thursday) same time & location.
NOV. 7 (Saturday) – 8th Graders RETREAT / SPIRIT DAY at ALBERTUS MAGNUS H.S.
This is a mandatory event for ALL 8th graders who are preparing for the Sacrament of Confirmation. Parents are asked to drop off their child at
ALBERTUS MAGNUS HIGH SCHOOL at 12:30PM and pick them up at 4:00PM. More details regarding this retreat will be given out on October
14th at the Parents’ Confirmation Meeting.
NOV. 18 (Wednesday) – Grades 1, 2, 3 “GOD’S FAMILY CATECHESIS”
A fun religious activity for all students in grades 1, 2, and 3 together with at least one parent per family.
Time: 5:00PM–7:00PM --- Location: Zoeller Center / church basement -- Kindly bring fresh fruits or baked goods to share. We apologize that
in case of inclement weather, there is NO alternative date for this event.
DEC. 21 (Monday) – Grades 1 to 5 “CHRISTMAS PAGEANT” – Parents please mark your calendars!!!
All Monday students in grades 1 to 5 are required to participate in the Christmas Pageant.
Time: 4:30PM – 6:00PM ---- Location: St Augustine’s GYMNASIUM.
In case of inclement weather, the pageant will be moved to Monday, January 11th (same time and same location).
DEC. 22 (Tuesday) – Grades 1 to 5 “CHRISTMAS PAGEANT” – Parents please mark your calendars!!!
All Tuesday students in grades 1 to 5 are required to participate in the Christmas Pageant.
Time: 4:30PM – 6:00PM ---- Location: St Augustine’s GYMNASIUM.
In case of inclement weather, the pageant will be moved to Tuesday, January 12th (same time and same location).
FEB. 3 (Wednesday) = 2ND GRADE PARENTS’ MEETING REGARDING FIRST HOLY COMMUNION.
Location: Zoeller Center
Time: 7:30PM to 9:30PM / This meeting is required of all parents whose children are preparing for the
Sacrament of First Holy Communion. Many questions will be answered and the First Holy Communion music CD will be distributed on this day.
At least one parent per family is asked to attend this very important meeting.
FEB. 13 (Saturday) = BLESSING CUP RETREAT for all the 2nd graders.
Ray Boswell will speak with the children regarding their Sacraments of Penance and First Holy Communion. Mr. Boswell will also demonstrate
with clay how God the Father created us with love and care. In the end, the children will decorate their own Blessing Cup/Chalice which they
can keep after receiving their First Holy Communion. Both parents are asked to attend this retreat (or at least one parent per family).

Group A – Mrs. Maryanne Modafferi’s 2nd grade students together with at least one parent should attend this
mandatory rehearsal. Location: St. Augustine Church / Time: 4:30PM to 5:30PM.
Group B – Mrs. Annie Bino’s 2nd grade students together with at least one parent should attend this mandatory
rehearsal. Location: St. Augustine Church / Time: 5:45PM to 6:45PM.
May 15 (Sunday) – The SACRAMENT of FIRST HOLY COMMUNION
Group A – Mrs. Maryanne Modafferi’s 2nd grade students will receive their First Holy Communion at the
9:00AM Mass. Parents are asked to bring their child to the church basement by 8:30AM.
Group B – Mrs. Annie Bino’s 2nd grade students will receive their First Holy Communion at the

(5:00 PM to 6:40 PM Mass) with Bishop John O’Hara / 8TH Graders who are scheduled to receive their Confirmation on this
day must be in the church basement at exactly 4:00PM together with their SPONSORS to meet with Bishop John O’Hara.
May 17 (Tuesday) – REHEARSAL for CONFIRMATION for Group 2 only
All 8TH graders in the Tuesday classes together with their SPONSORs (or a parent as the proxy) are scheduled for this
mandatory rehearsal in the church (7:00PM to 8:30PM).
May 25 (Wednesday) – SACRAMENT of CONFIRMATION for Group 2
(5:00 PM to 6:40 PM Mass) with Bishop Dominick Lagonegro / 8TH Graders who are scheduled to receive their Confirmation
on this day must be in the church basement at exactly 4:00PM together with their SPONSORS to meet with Bishop Dominick
Lagonegro.
