백동 Cupronickel
•
동합금 중,백동의 내식성이 특히 우수하며, 모양을 만들거나 가공과 용접이
용이하다. 선박 제조, 석유, 화공, 건축, 전력, 정밀계기, 악기제작 등 내식성이
필요한 곳에 광범위하게 사용된다. 일부 백동은 특수 전기학 성능이 있어,
레지스터 소자, 열전대 재료와 보충 도선의 제작이 가능하다. 비공업용 백동은
주로 인테리어 제품에 사용된다.
Cupronickel has excellent corrosion resistance and is easy molding, processing and
welding. Therefore, cupronickel is widely used as anti-corrosion components in the
industry of ship building, petroleum-chemical, construction, power, precision
instruments, medical equipment and instruments manufacturing. In some applications,
cupronickel is used in the making resistance element, thermocouple materials and
compensating conductor due to their special electrical properties. Other than industrial
usages, cupronickel is also used for manufacturing decorative arts and crafts.
