a Swedish research institute in optics and microelectronics, have completed the first phase of GMPLS interoperability
testing. The comprehensive testing took place during April, and the equipment will be moved into Acreo's national network
test bed in Sweden for demonstration of new broadband services.......

STOCKHOLM -- Lumentis AB, a leading supplier of metropolitan
and regional optical transport solutions, and Acreo, a leading
Swedish research institute in optics and microelectronics, has
completed first phase of GMPLS interoperability testing. The
comprehensive testing took place during April and the equipment
will be moved into Acreo’s national network test bed in Sweden for
demonstration of new broadband services.

optiska nät är redo att tas i drift.Nätet använder routrar från Juniper och WDM-utrustning

Transmode announces 100G deployments including FNE-Finland
Stockholm, Sweden - 16th January 2013 - Transmode, a global supplier of
packet-optical networking solutions today announced several new Metro
and Regional 100G deployments. This includes customer orders from North
America and deployments in Finland with FNE-Finland Oy.

In addition to these first customer network deployments, Transmode has
also performed multiple customer lab/network trials, including an
interesting deployment in the Acreo national research network in Sweden.

Acreo and Transmode have in a field-trial demonstrated the
transmission of 100 Gbit/s over 1640 km installed optical fiber. The
100Gbit/s signal was transmitted without electro-optical conversions
over several already installed optical transmission systems in the
Acreo National Testbed.
