一.謙卑來到主前 Humility Before God
耶穌進了迦百農，有一個百夫長進前來，求他說
：「主啊，我的僕人害癱瘓病，躺在家裏，甚是
疼苦。」耶穌說：「我去醫治他。」百夫長回答
說：「主啊，你到我舍下，我不敢當」When
Jesus had entered Capernaum, a centurion came to
him, asking for help. “Lord,” he said, “my servant
lies at home paralyzed, suffering terribly.” Jesus
said to him, “Shall I come and heal him?” The
centurion replied, “Lord, I do not deserve to have
you come under my roof. (太 Mt. 8:5~8上)

亞蘭王的元帥乃縵在他主人面前為尊為大，因耶
和華曾藉他使亞蘭人得勝；他…只是長了大痲瘋。
先前亞蘭人…從以色列國擄了一個小女子。她對
主母說：「巴不得我主人去見撒瑪利亞的先知，
Now Naaman was commander of the army of the
king of Aram. He was a great man in the sight of his
master and highly regarded, because through him
the Lord had given victory to Aram. …but he had
leprosy. Aram … had taken captive a young girl from
Israel,… She said to her mistress, “If only my master
would see the prophet who is in Samaria!

必能治好他的大痲瘋。」…亞蘭王說：「你可以
去，我也達信於以色列王。」於是乃縵帶…,信上
說：「我打發臣僕乃縵去見你，你接到這信，就
要治好他的大痲瘋。」He would cure him of his
leprosy.”…“By all means, go,” the king of Aram
replied. “I will send a letter to the king of Israel.” So
Naaman left … The letter that he took to the king of
Israel read: “With this letter I am sending my servant
Naaman to you so that you may cure him of his
leprosy.”

以色列王看了信就撕裂衣服說：「我豈是神，能
使人死使人活呢?這人竟打發人來，叫我治好他的
大痲瘋…」As soon as the king of Israel read the
letter, he tore his robes and said, “Am I God? Can I
kill and bring back to life?Why does this fellow send
someone to me to be cured of his leprosy?...!”

神人以利沙聽見…就打發人去見王，說：「你為
甚麼撕了衣服呢？可使那人到我這裏來，他就知
道以色列中有先知了。」於是，乃縵帶著車馬到
了以利沙的家，站在門前。以利沙打發一個使者，
對乃縵說：「你去在約旦河中沐浴七回，… When
Elisha the man of God heard …he sent him this
message: “Why have you torn your robes? Have the
man come to me and he will know that there is a
prophet in Israel.” So Naaman went with his horses
and chariots and stopped at the door of Elisha’s
house. Elisha sent a messenger to say to him, “Go,
wash yourself seven times in the Jordan,

你的肉就必復原，而得潔淨。」乃縵卻發怒走了，
說：「我想他必定出來見我，站著求告耶和華─他
神的名，在患處以上搖手，治好這大痲瘋。」於
是氣忿忿地轉身去了。他的僕人進前來，and your
flesh will be restored and you will be cleansed.” But
Naaman went away angry and said, “I thought that
he would surely come out to me and stand and call
on the name of the Lord his God, wave his hand over
the spot and cure me of my leprosy.” So he turned
and went off in a rage. Naaman’s servants went to
him

對他說：「我父啊，先知若吩咐你做一件大事，
你豈不做嗎?何況說你去沐浴而得潔淨呢?」於是
乃縵下去，照著神人的話，在約旦河裏沐浴七回；
他的肉復原，好像小孩子的肉，他就潔淨了。
and said, “My father, if the prophet had told you to
do some great thing, would you not have done it?
How much more, then, when he tells you, ‘Wash
and be cleansed’!” So he went down and dipped
himself in the Jordan seven times, as the man of
God had told him, and his flesh was restored and
became clean like that of a young boy.

乃縵…回到神人那裏，站在他面前，說：「如今
我知道，除了以色列之外，普天下沒有 神。
Then Naaman … went back to the man of God. He
stood before him and said, “Now I know that there is
no God in all the world except in Israel..”

於是王要向那右邊的說：『你們這蒙我父賜福的，
可來承受那創世以來為你們所預備的國；因為我
餓了，你們給我吃，渴了，你們給我喝；我作客
旅，你們留我住；我赤身露體，你們給我穿；
“Then the King will say to those on his right,
‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take
your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you
since the creation of the world. For I was hungry
and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty
and you gave me something to drink, I was a
stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes
and you clothed me,

我病了，你們看顧我；我在監裏，你們來看我。』
義人就回答說：『主啊，我們甚麼時候見你餓了，
給你吃，渴了，給你喝？甚麼時候見你作客旅，留
你住，或是赤身露體，給你穿？又甚麼時候見你病
了，或是在監裏，來看你呢？』 I was sick and you
looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit
me.’ “Then the righteous will answer him, ‘Lord, when
did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and
give you something to drink? When did we see you a
stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and
clothe you? When did we see you sick or in prison
and go to visit you?’

王要回答說：『我實在告訴你們，這些事你們既
做在我這弟兄中一個最小的身上，就是做在我身
上了。』王又要向那左邊的說：『你們這被咒詛
的人，離開我！進入那為魔鬼和他的使者所預備
的永火裏去！ “The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you,
whatever you did for one of the least of these
brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’ “Then
he will say to those on his left, ‘Depart from me, you
who are cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the
devil and his angels.

因為我餓了，你們不給我吃，渴了，你們不給我
喝；我作客旅，你們不留我住；我赤身露體，你
們不給我穿；我病了，我在監裏，你們不來看顧
我。』他們也要回答說：『主啊，我們甚麼時候
見你餓了，或渴了，或作客旅，For I was hungry
and you gave me nothing to eat, I was thirsty and
you gave me nothing to drink, I was a stranger and
you did not invite me in, I needed clothes and you
did not clothe me, I was sick and in prison and you
did not look after me.’ “They also will answer, ‘Lord,
when did we see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger

或赤身露體，或病了，或在監裏，不伺候你呢？』
王要回答說：『我實在告訴你們，這些事你們既
不做在我這弟兄中一個最小的身上，就是不做在
我身上了。』這些人要往永刑裏去；那些義人要
往永生裏去。」or needing clothes or sick or in
prison, and did not help you?’ “He will reply, ‘Truly I
tell you, whatever you did not do for one of the least
of these, you did not do for me.’ “Then they will go
away to eternal punishment, but the righteous to
eternal life.”

耶穌說：「我去醫治他。」百夫長回答說：「主
啊，你到我舍下，我不敢當；只要你說一句話，
我的僕人就必好了。因為我在人的權下，也有兵
在我以下；對這個說：『去！』The centurion
replied, “Lord, I do not deserve to have you come
under my roof. But just say the word, and my
servant will be healed. 9 For I myself am a man
under authority, with soldiers under me. I tell this
one, ‘Go,’ and he goes;

對那個說：『來！』他就來；對我的僕人說：『
你做這事！』他就去做。」耶穌聽見就希奇，對
跟從的人說：「我實在告訴你們，這麼大的信心
，就是在以色列中，我也沒有遇見過。and that
one, ‘Come,’ and he comes. I say to my servant, ‘Do
this,’ and he does it.” When Jesus heard this, he was
amazed and said to those following him, “Truly I tell
you, I have not found anyone in Israel with such
great faith.

我又告訴你們，從東從西，將有許多人來，在
天國裏與亞伯拉罕、以撒、雅各一同坐席；惟有
本國的子民竟被趕到外邊黑暗裏去，在那裏必要
哀哭切齒了。」I say to you that many will come
from the east and the west, and will take their
places at the feast with Abraham, Isaac and Jacob
in the kingdom of heaven. But the subjects of the
kingdom will be thrown outside, into the darkness,
where there will be weeping and gnashing of
teeth.”

我告訴你們，你們的義若不勝於文士和法利賽人
的義，斷不能進天國。For I tell you that unless
your righteousness surpasses that of the Pharisees
and the teachers of the law, you will certainly not
enter the kingdom of heaven.

耶穌對百夫長說：「你回去吧！照你的信心，給
你成全了。」那時，他的僕人就好了。Then Jesus
said to the centurion, “Go! Let it be done just as you
believed it would.” And his servant was healed at
that moment.

你們祈求，就給你們；尋找，就尋見；叩門，就
給你們開門。因為凡祈求的，就得著；尋找的，
就尋見；叩門的，就給他開門。你們中間誰有兒
子求餅，反給他石頭呢？Ask and it will be given to
you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will
be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives;
the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks
the door will be opened. “Which of you, if your son
asks for bread, will give him a stone?

求魚，反給他蛇呢？你們雖然不好，尚且知道拿
好東西給兒女，何況你們在天上的父，豈不更把
好東西給求他的人嗎 Or if he asks for a fish, will
give him a snake? If you, then, though you are evil,
know how to give good gifts to your children, how
much more will your Father in heaven give good
gifts to those who ask him!

耶穌設一個比喻，是要人常常禱告，不可灰心。
說：「某城裏有一個官。那城裏有個寡婦，常到
他那裏，說：『我有一個對頭，求你給我伸冤。』
他多日不准，後來心裏說：『我雖不懼怕 神，
也不尊重世人，Then Jesus told his disciples a parable to
show them that they should always pray and not give up. He
said: “In a certain town there was a judge … And there was a
widow in that town who kept coming to him with the plea,
‘Grant me justice against my adversary.’ “For some time
he refused. But finally he said to himself, ‘Even though I

只因這寡婦煩擾我，我就給她伸冤吧，免得她常

的話。神的選民晝夜呼籲他，他縱然為他們忍了
多時，豈不終久給他們伸冤嗎？ yet because this
widow keeps bothering me, I will see that she gets
justice, so that she won’t eventually come and
attack me!’” And the Lord said, “Listen to what
the unjust judge says. And will not God bring about
justice for his chosen ones, who cry out to him day
and night? Will he keep putting them off?

我告訴你們，要快快地給他們伸冤了。然而，人
子來的時候，遇得見世上有信德嗎?」 I tell you,
he will see that they get justice, and quickly.
However, when the Son of Man comes, will he find
faith on the earth?”
