Health Savings Account (HSA) • • A Health Savings Account or HSA is a savings account you can use to cover health care expenses To be eligible to participate in an HSA you must: – Be enrolled in a high-deductible health plan – Not be enrolled in a Medicare1 health plan or enrolled in another health plan that is not a high-deductible plan, like a spouse’s or domestic partner’s • 1 14 If you’re not eligible for an HSA, you can enroll in Flextronics plans, but without the HSA If your spouse or domestic partner is eligible for Medicare, you may enroll in the HSA and use the funds to cover their health care expenses (excluding premiums) if they are your tax dependent.
