Dritto, designed by Piero Lissoni for Salvatori, is a table
with sleek lines, an impressive project, crafted to suit an
infinite number of settings, whether residential,
public spaces or offices.
The intersection between the geometric frame in iron
and the intensity of the boldly substantial top give voice to
the stone which, for Salvatori, is synonymous with artisan
craftsmanship, skill and respect for the environment.
The top is available in marble and natural stone, in various
finishes like Lithoverde, an eco-friendly material entirely
made of materials recycled from the production phases and
assembled with a natural resin binder to maximize solidity.
Eclectic and versatile, the Dritto table is available in many
sizes and shapes – round, rectangular and oval – making
it ideal for use as a dining table, work table, or coffee table.
Dritto is a unique, customizable product that pays tribute
to the savoir faire of a company known for its commitment
to quality and attention to detail.

SALVATORI
For over sixty years Salvatori has supported architects,
designers and builders with its innovative research that has
made it internationally famous in the market for
the production of marble and stone.
Its distinguishing quality lies in transforming ancient
material such as marble and natural stone into contemporary
solutions.
The company was founded in the late 1940s in an area
of Tuscany – between Pietrasanta and Forte dei Marmi –
which is famous both for its quarries and for originating
the traditional techniques of working the stone,
as well as for being the region where these techniques have
been refined and renewed.
Salvatori launched and established a totally original
technique of working and, indeed, in the 1950s the
company scored a world first when it invented the so-called
“Spaccatello” or “Split-face”.
The company is always at the cutting edge in the sector
and has been the forerunner of many innovations regarding
both materials and finishes.
Gabriele Salvatori, the art director, represents the third
generation of this important company and he has garnered
the company heirloom with its traditionally strong links to
the region, links that have been built up over time and which
are now world-renowned.

PIERO LISSONI
Italian architect and designer Piero Lissoni approaches his work
with a mastery of proportion and an acute sensitivity for detail
that distinguishes the common from the extraordinary.
Mr. Lissoni began his career in 1978 after graduating with
a degree in architecture from the Milan Polytechnic. In 1985,
he began his career with Boffi Kitchens where he worked as an art
director and designer. In 1986, Mr. Lissoni opened Studio Lissoni
with partner Nicoletta Canesi where they eventually created
Graphx in 1996 for graphic design. The company honed its skills
in the areas of industrial design, graphic design, architecture
and interiors, artistic direction and coordinated image.
Today, Studio Lissoni Associati Milano and Graphx employs
seventy architects, designers and graphic artists for
international clients such as: Alessi, Artelano, Boffi, Cappellini,
Cassina, Flos/Antares, Fritz Hansen, Glas Italia, Kartell, Knoll,
Lema, Living Divani, Lualdi, Matteograssi, Olivari, Poltrona
Frau, Porro, Sabattini, Salvatori and Thonet. Incursions into
the fashion world involve store design and showrooms with
brands such as: Benetton, Brosway, Gallo, Piazza Sempione,
Santandrea, Serapian and the American designer Elie Tahari.
Piero Lissoni’s architectural accomplishments include design
for the Mamilla Hotel Jerusalem; the renovation of the public
areas of the Monaco & Grand Canal Hotel Venice; the Bentley
Design Hotel TM Istanbul;
the Al Porto Design Hotel TM Zurich lake; the Mitsui Garden
Hotel Tokyo and many other hospitality destinations,
various corporate headquarters as well as hundreds of other projects.
