Although the Pallante family had been involved in wheat milling in Irpinia for several generations, it wasn’t until 1949 that they
established their first pasta factory producing 2.5 tons per day. Today, the same Pallante family produces pasta in an ultramodern
factory in Caserta -producing 300 tons per day, combining the best tradition of Italian pasta making with the finest raw materials and high
technology, keeping the promise made by our founder, Attilio Pallante, Sr., “never sacrifice quality for volume.”
The Pallante family is still very much in charge, in fact, the fourth generation of the family is now running
the business.
Our business had grown rapidly over the last decade due to increased investment into technology with special attention to quality
control of the finished product. From its humble beginnings, PAP srl has transformed from a small regional producer to a major
player on the international market.
Our Brands
Pasta Reggia
The Royal Palace at Caserta, one of the greatest monuments in Italian history, is the symbol our family selected in 1960 for our
flagship brand, Pasta Reggia. Pasta Reggia is available in 64 different cuts: long, short and special. It is produced in a variety of sizes:
250gr, 500gr, 1000gr, 5000gr as well as 1 Pound packages for the North American market.
Spighe di Campo
This brand is available different cuts of 500gr for the Italian market. Its traditional packaging is reminiscent of time bygone.
Our brands, which represent 50% of our total production, are exported to the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Germany,
France, South America, Australia, Africa and Japan. The other 50% of our production is private label produced for domestic brands
as well as export.
