附加疑问句的四种基本形式
“陈述句+附加问句”
 That clock is slow, isn’t it?
 That clock isn’t slow, is it?
 That clock is slow, is it?
 That clock isn’t slow, isn’t it?
 前两种为主要形式，后两种形式仅在
特定语境下表示感情色彩。


 Nobody wants to go there, does

 当陈述部分的主语是everybody,
everyone, someone, no one,
nobody, somebody等指人的合成词
时，附加问句部分的主语在正式语体
中常用he, 在非正式语体中往往用they。
 Everybody enjoyed the party, didn’t
they?

Everything is ready, _______?
isn’t it
 陈述部分的主语是everything,
anything, something, nothing 等指
物的合成词时， 附加问句部分的主语
只能用it。

There’s something wrong,
isn’t there
___________?
 在there-存在句中，附加问句部分的主
语也用there。

Bob rarely got drunk, _______?

 He was unsuccessful, __________?
wasn’t he
 陈述部分带有seldom, hardly, never,
nowhere, rarely, few, little, nothing
等否定词时, 附加问句的动词用肯定形
式。
 若陈述部分的否定词只带有否定前缀，
附加问句用否定形式。


 陈述部分是I’m…结构时，附加问句用
aren’t I。

One can’t be too careful,
can one/ you

 陈述部分以one作主语， 附加问句的
主语在正式场合用one，在非正式场合
用you。


 当陈述部分是带有that-分句作宾语的主从
结构时，附加问句与主句的主语和谓语动
词对应。
 当陈述部分的主句是I suppose, I think, I
believe, I suspect, I imagine 等结构时，
附加问句与that –分句中的主谓保持对应，
但要注意否定转移。

The child ought to be punished,

 陈述部分带有情态动词ought to时，
附加问句在英式英语中仍用ought to，
但在美式英语中用should。


 陈述部分带有情态动词used to时，附
加问句可用used to 形式或did 形式。


 在“祈使句+附加问句”结构中， 附加
问句一般用will you, won’t you,
would you.
 有时也可用can you, can’t you, why
don’t you, could you等。

 在Let’s开首的祈使句之后，附加问句
用shall we。
 以Let us开始的祈使句，如果含义是
allow us，不包括听话人在内时，附加
问句用will you。

