The PowerPoint Lectures
• A recommended procedure is to print each
PowerPoint lecture and bring it to class.
• This will save you having to take notes over
material covered in the PowerPoint lecture.
• Print each PowerPoint lecture as “Slides” with
three slides per page.
• This is illustrated on the next slide.

The Chapter Post-Tests
The post-tests are located
inside Course Content
The Chapter Post-Tests
• The post-test questions are taken directly
from the assigned homework questions
• The assigned homework is on the DSCI
2710 website using the [2710Homework] link and is in your syllabus
• The number of post-test questions varies
for each chapter
The Chapter Post-Tests
• The post-tests are timed, so make sure you
complete the assigned homework first
• There is a total of 100 questions
• Your score will be the number of correctly
answered questions that were on time
• Example: If you answered 85 of the 100
questions correctly (and on time), you receive
85 points
The Chapter Post-Tests
• This assumes all post-tests were
completed on time
• There is a 50% penalty for post-tests
taken after the due date
• For a late post-test, the number of
correct answers for that post-test is
divided by 2
