• The Cholera outbreak which started in June this year
is still raging on
• The outbreak started slowly experienced a sharp
increase from week 31 to 32
• There has been just a slight decline in the number of
cases from week 34 to week 35
• A total of 10, 256 including 92 deaths (CFR= 0.9%)
have been reported from 7 regions

• Fifty-two districts are affected.
• Most of the cases come from Accra metro
(46%) and La-Dade Kotopon
• The spread is mostly along the coastal districts
and on the Accra-Kumasi road
• Treatment guidelines available in all health
facilities
• Radio & TV discussions are ongoing
