COURSE aims
The learning objectives of the course will be:
1. Evaluation of established and most recent endoscopic imaging techniques,
assessing their clinical utility in a cancer and precancerous conditions
setting
2. Description of pre-therapeutic assessment and post-treatment follow-up
in neoplastic and pre-neoplastic diseases
3. Technical teaching of various endoscopic diagnostic and therapeutic
procedures in G.I. and pancreatico-biliary neoplasia
4. Teaching on prevention and endoscopic treatment of complications
5. Providing scientific appraisal of technologies, guideline
and evidence-based approaches in the endoscopic management
of gastrointestinal and pancreatico-biliary neoplasia
6. Recognizing the role of digestive endoscopy in neoplastic diseases
and its interaction with surgery and oncology.
7. Providing basic science in the field of gastrointestinal
and pancreatico-biliary cancer
