87 best-in-class products offered by 52 exhibiting companies have passed the selection and
will be on display at the exhibition
Milan, 18-21 March 2014 – MCE - MOSTRA CONVEGNO EXPOCOMFORT, the leading international
exhibition dedicated to residential and industrial installations, air-conditioning and renewable energy – will
once again offer a real and virtual pathway through the show leading professionals to the discovery of the
most ground-breaking solutions that focus on high energy efficiency available today on the market.
The third edition of “Percorso Efficienza & Innovazione” has proved a major hit once again. MCE Scientific
Committee, chaired by a representative of the Milan Polytechnic, Department of Architecture, Built
Environment and Construction Engineering has selected 87 best-in-class products by 52 exhibiting
companies – that stand out for their cutting-edge criteria aimed at energy efficiency and energy
conservation spanning the four main areas of MCE: Heat, Cold, Water and Energy.
In line with the common thread running through MCE 2104 “Smart Plants, Smart Cities”, are the two new
sectors featured by “Percorso Efficienza & Innovazione” 2014: Home & Building Automation and
Sustainable Water Management, that are fundamental for overcoming the challenges facing green building
that require advanced control and regulation systems for indoor climate temperature in both winter and
summer as well as water control systems to regulate water consumption to intelligently manage resources
improving comfortable living.
The strength of “Percorso Efficienza & Innovazione is to be an online database, an easy to use consultation
tool on the website www.mcexpocomfort.it. to search products by product category and manufacturers. A
virtual path, which is real during MCE, thanks to a signboard system to guide visitors and a map to help
them to find and “touch” the best-in-class products displayed at the exhibition.
The distinctive characteristic of “Percorso Efficienza & Innovazione 2014”, is to offer an exhaustive
overview of the most innovative solutions in the four industry macro-sectors featured at MCE, comprising
air-conditioning, heating and renewable energies with solar thermal, biomass, photovoltaic systems, hot
water management with production, distribution, and storage systems, energy efficiency use with metering
and monitoring systems, heat pump systems, co-generation, tri-generation, home building automation, and
last but not least, installation components.
