Radome- radar dome
A Radome is a structural, weatherproof
enclosure used to protect an antenna from
the effects of environmental exposure and
conceal antenna from public view.
The material used are RF transparent – low
dialectic constant and low energy reduction.

Materials
* Radomes are made out of composite materials
laminate: fiberglass, Kevlar (Aramid), quarts .
* In order to increase strength and lower weight in
large Radomes – core materials are used In
addition to the laminate: honeycomb, roacell ,
Divinycell etc’.
Technology
*At ‘Aero sol’ company we use prepreg composite
materials and non prepreg- according to
customers requirements.
*The ‘cure’ process is under vacuum bagging or
pressure in an oven.
*We design and manufacture the mold according
to the required working temperature.
*At ‘Aero sol’ we paint the product in our painting
room according to the paint requirements.
