With an annual turnover of 8M€ and 16 patents to its name, IK4IDEKO already has several technological results to its credit, which
allows us to be more effective as regards the added value we provide
to companies: One of these is the IKDAS product, a signal
acquisition and processing platform for machines. In the vibration
elimination area, we have developed active dampers to increase
damping of the MT structure, thus achieving a significant reduction in
machine vibrations and an improvement in the quality of the part and
in the cutting capacity. Lastly, in the innovation area, IK4-IDEKO has
developed the “IDK Intelligence SUITE” a set of methodologies and
tools focused on Competitive Intelligence. In the sustainability area,
the results are fundamentally aimed at the entire design and
manufacturing process. We have developed capabilities and
technology offering sustainable and resource efficient solutions - how
to achieve efficiency in cooling by means of optimised nozzles, the
use of MQL in grinding, the extraction of internal chips through the
tool in machining processes, new part inspection systems eliminating
contaminating liquids, new machine methods based on eco-design
and substitution of materials, with lower energy needs for their
manufacture - are some of the most significant examples.
At IK4-IDEKO, a technological centre specialising in industrial
manufacturing and production technologies, we have a flexible
collaboration model that is adapted to all types of customer: from the
timely provision of technological services to the establishment of
multiannual R&D plans, as well as support to the customer's
development strategy for the product, process or service through the
implementation of R&D projects. At IK4-IDEKO we provide companies
with differentiating technological solutions that enable them to improve
their competitiveness. Our specialization is based in the development of
our 8 research areas: Strategic Innovation, Manufacturing
management, dynamics and control, mechanical design, intelligent
software, manufacturing processes, inspection and measurement and
microtechnology and ultraprecsion.
IK4-IDEKO offers a broad range of advanced services of Measurement,
Inspection and Verification, Ultra-precision dimensional measurement,
Measurement of residual stresses, Verification and machine fault
