Birger Hatlebakk establishes the predecessor of Glamox ASA.
He invents the glamoxation process: Aluminum that is
GLAtt (smooth)-Matt-Oxidert
(oxidized).

Total revenue increases from
42 mill. NOK to 156 mill. NOK and approximately 50% was delivered outside Norway.
First deliveries for marine and offshore environments in the

Glamox International is established. aqua signal and parts of Høvik
Lys are bought by Glamox.
Norselight is bought in 2000.
