FACULTY OF TECHNOLOGY ORGANIZATION 8 DEPARTMENTS: Department of Carbohydrate Food Engineering Department of Food Preservation Engineering The one of the main research area is membrane filtration processes implementation in food industry as well as in the waste water treatment. Few PhD thesis are defended on this subject. Investigations are at the moment carry out on microfiltration in the starch, sugarand diary industry. FACULTY OF TECHNOLOGY ORGANIZATION 8 DEPARTMENTS: Department of Carbohydrate Food Engineering Department of Food Preservation Engineering Would like to collaborate with ITM-CNR Istituto per la Tecnologia delle Membrane from Rende, Calabria Director: LIDIETTA GIORNO Knowledge transfer FACULTY OF TECHNOLOGY ORGANIZATION 8 DEPARTMENTS: Department of Biotechnology and Pharmaceutical Engineering investigation of development of bioethanol production from byproduct and intermediate from sugar beet processing. The special emphasis of this investigation is effects on ecology and remission of effect of greenhouse. Application of bioethanol as renewable fuel tributary on remission of harmful gasses: CO2, NO, SO2. They also work on water and wastewater treatment by adsorption, coagulation/flocculation. FACULTY OF TECHNOLOGY ORGANIZATION 8 DEPARTMENTS: Department of Basic Engineering disciplines Department of Applied and Engineering Chemistry cover fields of chemical analysis and development of analytical systems as well as separation of different classes of molecules. Furthermore, some of them are dealing with chemistry of free radicals and their scavengers preferentially isolated from plants. Microencapsulating of physiologically active compounds is another field as well as isolation and purification of enzymes and their application. FACULTY OF TECHNOLOGY ORGANIZATION 8 DEPARTMENTS: Department of Material Engineering researchers are focused on development of innovative methods for synthesis of different oxide nanopowders and processing of bulk ceramics, polymer based nanocomposites and thick films with improved electrical and magnetic properties and their application in novel technologies: electronics, soft magnets and solid oxide fuel cells. Protection of cultural heritage objects with multifunctional advanced materials FACULTY OF TECHNOLOGY ORGANIZATION 8 DEPARTMENTS: Department of Material Engineering COST Action FA0904: Eco-sustainable food packaging based on polymer nanomaterials, project coordinator, Dr. Clara Silvestre, Consiglio Nazionale delle Ricerche Istituto di Chimica e Tecnologia dei Polimeri Via Campi, Italy, members of MC-Serbia: Doc. Dr. Branka Pilć, Faculty of Technology, University of Novi Sad (2010-2014). FACULTY OF TECHNOLOGY ORGANIZATION 8 DEPARTMENTS: Department of Chemical Engineering work in the field of fluid flow through porous media and heterogeneous catalysis with emphasis on environmental science The other researchers are interested in mathematical modeling of technological processes and membrane reactores. Also they worked on improving the energy efficiency in the sugar industry by performance FACULTY OF TECHNOLOGY ORGANIZATION 8 DEPARTMENTS: Department of Oil and Petrochemical Refining Inorganic and organic pollutants in urban areas Prof.dr Škrbić Laboratories Acredited Laboratories: Laboratory for Food Analyses and Food Safety Laboratory for Packaging and Packing EUREKA project 2012 University of Novi Sad Faculty of Technology Laboratory for Food Microbiology Dr Marija Škrinjar, professor Instituto di Scienze delle Produzioni Alimentari (ISPA) Consiglio Nazionale delle Ricerche (CNR) Dr Antonio Moretti, primo ricercatore
