Kolbäcks Inn is a 3-star traditional hotel, operating in unbroken tradition since 1670,
next to Kolbäck river and 350 meters from Kolbäcks railway station.
Itinerary; approx. 8 min. from Strömsholm and 20 min. from Västerås City.
We serve a lunch buffet during the weekdays, and a la carte during weekends
and evenings in our restaurant. During the hot summer months, you can enjoy
your meals on the terrace.
We also accept bookings for conferences, weddings or private parties in a historical
setting with stunning view over the beautiful garden.
For the active and culturally interested people, we can offer various activities like
historical tours at Strömsholms Castle or in our historical buildings, yoga,
rent a boat, etc.

The inn is available for anyone looking for a restaurant and a hotel that carries its own
character, with an atmosphere of old days, festivity, glamour and professional staff that cares
about you. We want you as our guest to get away from all everyday stress and be able to fill
your senses with experiences for both body and soul.
We can offer you activities such as yoga, massage, sauna and hiking. Vision and hearing may
also be its art, exhibitions, music, National Day celebration, the Medieval Market and
theaters that we occasionally organize.
Kolbäcks Inn, has for centuries been home to ordinary people and prominent guests.
We are members of the Swedish Hotel and Restaurant Association - Visita.

OUR ROOMS
Kolbäcks Inn, has 17 rooms. The rooms are accommodated in historical surroundings
in the main building and both of the wings.
The hotel has 34 beds in single and double rooms. We also have a bridal suite at your
disposal.
Our rooms are personally decorated with charm and dating back to the 1700's.
All rooms are of hotel standard of which seven of the rooms feature newly renovated
bathrooms and are of 3-star standard.
With us you get relaxation, read a good book or newspaper at the pier, rent a canoe or
subscribe yourself to our yoga class or simply enjoy the beautiful countryside next to
Kolbäck river. All public and private spaces are non-smoking.
We can offer an exquisite lunch (weekdays) or dinner (evenings and weekends) in a historic
setting. Do you have any special requests such as allergies, we try to accommodate you.

Reservations that are not canceled by 18:00 the day before will be charged a full day's rental.
CONFERENCE
Here at Kolbäck Inn, we offer conferences for both small and large companies, and of course
we want to customize the conference according to your requirements and needs.
To combine work with recreation in form of walking, yoga or common activities, creates
beautiful cohesion of the group.
We have small group rooms for 3-12 persons and larger conference facilities for up to 100
people. To get more from your conference, you can choose to add morning coffee, lunch
buffet or afternoon coffee.
A meeting at Kolbäcks Inn, will be pure enjoyment for both body and soul.

approx. 25 people.

BANQUET HALL
A party or a wedding in our beautiful banquet hall will be a memory for life.
In an historic environment we create together with you an arrangement for both smaller and
larger groups. The banquet hall is located in the main house with a large balcony and a
magnificent view over the gardens and Kolbäck river.
We are setting up your tables, chairs and tablecloths as well as decorating according to your

ACTIVITIES
Around Kolback and the Kolbäck river there are plenty of activities and sights. Below we
share with you our tips:
RENT A ROWING BOAT
Would you like to row or just fishing quietly in the reed? Hire one of our rowing boat for an
entire or half a day. Half day (4 hours), 150 SEK. Whole day (8 hours) 300 SEK.
The price includes the boat and life jackets. Add 100 SEK and you get a picnic basket
with thermos of coffee and sandwiches.
RENT A CANOE

PAT & CUDDLE WITH BUNNIES
Here at The Inn we have a little bunny farm. Bring your parents and the visit our pets.
Our bunnies likes love and caring so gently pet the bunnies (they can nibble) and give them
some food. Read the rules at the bunny house.
YOGA
NOTE! New times from 18/8 2013.
On The inn we have yoga lessons every Sunday, Wednesday and Thursday.
Please bring own yoga mat, comfortable clothes and a blanket. If you don't have a yoga mat
you can borrow one from us. Please bring a towel.
Everyone can participate at yoga, young or old, male and female.
Beginner or experienced does not matter.
No previous knowledge is required of you who never tried before, you will be guided the
world of yoga by Marianne Koskela, experienced yoga instructor who leads the group.
Yoga lessons is performed upstairs, in the right wing.
During summer (in good weather), we practice on the pier next to the Kolbäck river.
