ALTA SCUOLA DI ECONOMIA E RELAZIONI INTERNAZIONALI Summer School in Poverty Eradication: Access to Land, Access to Food Milan, 1st - 4th September 2014 IRIN/Tommy Trenchard Exploring viable and ethical solutions towards poverty eradication and sustainability, in view of the post-2015 development agenda and Milano EXPO2015 - Feeding the Planet, Energy for Life. The program builds on a multidisciplinary perspective, including: . Poverty, inequality and food security . Right to food as a human right . Governance of Tenure, land conflict management . Access to land: supporting women’s and indigenous rights . Food safety and reduction of food losses for promoting food security, health and environmental sustainability . Water management and rural development. The Summer School is a 25 hours course, including lectures, group work and open discussion held at ASERI building, a XX century villa in Milano city centre. The Faculty of Scienze politiche e sociali, Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore, and ASERI Masters’ Courses award 3 ECTS credits.
