PRINCIPLES ULTRA SONIC CLEANING BATHES, FLUSHING AND DRYING STATION
The main purpose of the equipment is to clean contaminated components by washing with transducers (ultrasonic generators), warm water and chemicals (agents). There are also possibilities to rinse with low pressure water pistol and dry with compressed air pistol.
The cleaning bathes are mainly used for cleaning components, which have to be treated with care. The cleaning bathes are suitable for parts up to 100 kg in each bath. During the cleaning process the components are placed in a certain basket.
The Ultrasonic bath and the Immersion bathes are all equipped with heaters to heat up the water. Motors are installed to move the equipment inside the vessel in an oscillating way. To protect the operator each bath is equipped with a hatch, which has to be closed during the washing sequence.
All bathes can use the agitator to mix the cleaning agents before the process begins.
The Flushing and drying station is equipped with water pistol for flushing the components after cleaning in the different bathes.
Pressurized air is provided at another air nozzle pistol to dry the components after been flushed.
For safety reasons the operator is working outside the station and can clean the components through glove penetrations in the vessel.
The operator can see through the hatch while working.

The electrical cabinet contains all electrical equipment needed for the operation of the complete cleaning bath function. The electrical cabinet has an operation panel where the operator can operate and control all bathes. At the operation panel the operator can see all alarms, change washing time, adjust water temperature and start/stop all functions for washing, motors, fans and agitator.

RCC-10 (Reactor Cavity Cleaner) cleans the basin with two against each other rotating brushes. The machine is easily manouvered along the walls and controlled by two joysticks. Transfer in height is done by emptying the basin. Two jetbeams provides necessary bearing pressure against the wall.
Decontaminates the basin at the same time it is emptied. Minimizes necessary time for cleaning.
Only the oxide layer is removed. Prevents airborne contamination by absorbation. Crane is not occupied. Reaches even curved walls.
RCC-1 can be delivered with air motors or electrical motors
The rotation of the brushes polishes the surface and removes the contamination without removing any material off the wall. RCC-1 is manouvered with the polar crane which it is hanged up in.
