Who are E.ON
E.ON are one of the UK's leading energy suppliers and the second
largest electricity generator in the UK.
We are part of E.ON AG, the world's largest investor-owned power
and gas company, which has its headquarters in Germany
We produce c.10% of the UK’s electricity, and sell electricity and gas
to around 8 million customers covering domestic, SME and industrial
markets. E.ON also offers central heating and boiler care

Sustainable Travel in context…
It is one part of our objective to reduction the impact of our internal
operations, and is in addition to:
• Emission capping of company cars at 150g/km
• Business lead mileage reduction targets
• Roll out of telemetric systems in commercial vehicles
• Electronic meeting solutions
• Water reduction targets
• Building energy reduction targets
• Employee engagement to take work lead behaviour home to
reduce emissions

Why is sustainable travel important to us
Sustainable travel allows us to deliver on our commitment of cleaner
& better energy by:
• Reducing carbon emissions and costs associated with how we
travel on business
• Travelling less helps us to reduce pollution, waste and what we
use in the running of our business
• Helping employees to reduce the costs and carbon emissions
associated with the daily commute.

• Changing rooms with lockers and showers
• Revised site access to make cycle friendly
• Launched TravelShare journey matching tool for
cyclists
• Increased the amount of secure cycle storage at
Phoenix Ctr and Newstead Court in the Notts area
• Cycle2work scheme linked to Flexible Benefits
• Ongoing discount with high street and online
providers such as Halfords, Evans Cycles and
Wiggle.com

Video conferencing
We’ve invested in updating our video conferencing systems to allow
for better reliability and quality.
Telemeet:
Is our one or two screen HD video conferencing solution which is
provided over our own network.
Telepresence:
Is our immersive HD video conferencing that makes it feel like you
are entering the same room and sitting at the same table as your
colleagues or partners
