Solar Plan- Ouarzazate
National, ambitious and realistic project aims at establishing by 2020 a
capacity of 2.000 megawatts. This production capacity represents 38
percent of the installed power by late 2008 and 14 percent of the electric
power by 2020.
Five sites have been identified for the launch of that project, which is part of
the energy of the strategy set out as per the High Directives of the
Sovereign. These sites are those of Ouarzazate, Ain Bni Mathar, Foum Al
Oued, Boujdour and Sebkhat Tah.

Port Tangier Med
Sectorial Strategies
Its particular position on the Straits of Gibraltar, at the crossing
of two major maritime routes, and 15km from the European
Union enable it to serve a market of hundreds of millions of
consumers through the industrial and commercial free zones
which are run by well-known private operators.
It also wins a big part of the market of container transshipment
and has already become a leading hub for cereal transshipment
as well.
Sectorial Strategies
Tourism Plan 2020
Vision 2020 is the extension of our national tourism strategy that started 10
years ago and at that time was called Vision 2010. Tourism in Morocco had a
proactive strategy launched with several structural measures being taken over
the past years. It was a very serious and dynamic vision, which allowed us to
double the number of tourists – from 4 million in 2004 to roughly 10 million in
2010, to triple the income of the sector, to double the bed capacity in Morocco
and to position tourism today as one of the main economy sectors in
Morocco representing roughly 10% of its GDP

Sectorial Strategies
Part of Morocco Green Plan: The Agropole of Meknes
The Green Morocco Plan's strategy concerns a sector which
contributes 19% of the GNP, with 15% from agriculture and 4% from
agro-industry. This sector employs more than 4 million rural
inhabitants, and has created approximately 100,000 jobs in the agroindustry sector. It also plays an important social role as 80% of the
14 million rural inhabitants depend on revenues from the agricultural
sector.
It is important to remember that the sector is directly responsible for
the food security of 30 million consumers.
