Constitution articles of interest • The Federal Republic of Iraq- Article 122 states: First: The governorates shall be made of a number of districts, sub-districts, and villages. • The KRG Constitution- Article 35 Mentions “self rule” in areas where we constitute a majority. Constitution has not be adopted yet. What we need to do • Continue meeting with members of US house and Senate and/or their staff. • Have our allies and friends in DC continue to talk to members of House and Senate and/or their staff. • Support Congressman Wolf’s bill HR 440 to appoint a special envoy to the region. • Schedule presentations similar to this in other cities in California and outside of California that have substantial Assyrian population.
