About Us
Di Più s.r.l. designs and produces mechanical briquetting machines and complete
systems for the production of briquettes from wood waste and other materials since 1978.
A true 30 years old of real experience in the sector, numerous plants installed around
the world and the continuous research for new solutions led to the achievement of
excellence in terms of performance and reliability.

Briquetting Presses
The briquetting machines allow the transformation of the sawdust, the discards of the wood
elaboration and of the biomass in general in briquettes of high calorific power that can be
burnt in fireplaces or stoves (domestic) as well as in big boilers and thermal power
stations (industrial) in order to produce heat or electric power.
The calorific power of one kg of briquettes produced by mechanical briquetting machines
ranges from 4000 to 5000 Kcal/kg. This means that a little more than 2 kg of briquettes is
required to produce the same heating performance as 1lt of gas oil (10.200 kcal/kg).

Di Più Mechanical Briquetting Presses
The market offers two different kinds of briquetting
machines : the mechanical ones and the hydraulic
ones.
Mechanical briquetting machines, which
operate with a pressure higher than 2000kg/cm,
can work 24 hours a day, have a productivity
range from 200 to 3000 kg/h, have higher
reliability and time endurance as well as lower
production costs per ton. This type of presses is
usually used in the industrial production of
briquettes or in plants where the waste to be
briquetted exceeds 200-300kg/h.
The quality, density and calorific power of
briquettes obtained with this type of presses is
superior compared to the results achieved by
hydraulic presses.
