Position: Program Co-ordinator of the international Master of European Politics and Policies
(MEPP). KU Leuven Institute for International and European Policy
Educational, management and scientific support of this advanced Master program, focusing on
comparative public administration/policy/management in Europe. As a co-ordinator I was in
charge of the strategic development, and daily management of the programme, in mutual
consultation with the academic directors (Em. Prof. Dr. Frank Delmartino and Prof. Dr. Marleen
Brans) and the wider steering committee. Appointed at a time when the program underwent
major reforms, the co-ordinationship required the proactive development of appropriate
measures to cope with the post-Bologna educational challenges. The position further involved
the educational and academic mentorship of the group of (international) students, the
elaboration of the files for the selection process, and the organisation of exchanges within the
European Master of Public Administration (EMPA) Network. During my co-ordination the selfevaluations for the European Association for Public Administration Accreditation (EAPAA) and
for the VLIR/NVAO were prepared, drafted and successfully awarded with an accreditation
label.
