Extract from announcement of activation of courses starting in November - Dr. Giorgi
Information regarding course objectives, number of places, qualifications required, selection procedures, teaching
organization, enrolment fee and any other specific information regarding individual courses is available in the
annexes to this notice.
Those who are in possession of the qualifications, or equivalent qualifications achieved at foreign universities,
listed for each advanced course may apply for admission.
Attendance at course activities is compulsory.

Applications for admission may be submitted from 10 September 2014 until 9
procedures:

October 2014 following these
1) register on the University portal as an external graduate at www.unimi.it - Online Services SIFA - LOGIN, only if
you have not already registered or are not in possession of university credentials;
2) apply for admission to the course at www.unimi.it - Servizi online SIFA – Servizi di ammissione – Ammissione
ai corsi post laurea – Corsi di perfezionamento.
Candidates are also required to send the following documentation to the secretariat of each course, as specified in

the attached fact sheet, by the deadline of 9 October, 2014; otherwise they will be excluded from the selection
procedure
- a signed copy of the receipt of the online application;
- curriculum vitae et studiorum (specifying the name of the degree obtained), a prerequisite for the selection
procedure and award of scholarships;
- any other documents as specified in each course fact sheet.
Holders of a non-university qualification issued in Italy, recognized by law as equivalent to a Degree, must also
forward a copy of the qualification and of their High School Diploma to the Ufficio Formazione permanente e
continua.
Holders of qualifications issued outside Italy, in addition to the above, must forward the original documents or
certified copies useful for the assessment of the qualification (solely for the purpose of admission to the advanced
course) to the Ufficio Formazione permanente e continua: qualification, an official translation of the same
legalized in accordance with legislation in force in the country in which the qualification was issued and a "
dichiarazione di valore in loco " issued by the Italian diplomatic representation (embassy or consulate) in the
country in which the qualification was issued. Candidates who were awarded the qualification in a European Union
country may present the Diploma Supplement, duly certified in accordance with current legislation, as an
alternative to the translation and “dichiarazione di valore in loco”.

am.
The list of students admitted to the course will be published on the University website through the online service
SIFA. To access the list choose Graduatorie Ammissioni Corsi post laurea followed by Graduatorie Corsi di
Perfezionamento. Publication on the website constitutes official notification; candidates will not be notified
individually.

Students admitted to the course are required to enrol, under penalty of forfeiture, within 5 working days of
publication of the list, through the SIFA onLine service (Servizi di immatricolazioni ed iscrizione >
Immatricolazioni > Immatricolazione ai Corsi di perfezi onamento). At the same time they are required to
pay the enrolment fee, as indicated in the course fact sheet, by credit card or by using the MAV that will be created
at the end of the on-line enrolment procedure.
The completion of enrolment is automatic ex officio after candidates have completed the required actions.
Late payment will result in the application of an arrears contribution of € 30.00.
The required amount must be paid according to the above procedure and deadline even if the enrolment fee is paid
by a person other than students themselves or by an institution, organization or company, or the student will not be
enrolled in the course. No invoice will be issued since advanced courses are classified as being part of the
University’s Institutional activities and the enrolment fee is not subject to VAT.
At the time of enrolment foreign applicants are required to provide the Ufficio Formazione permanente e continua
with their Italian tax code. Non-EU candidates also need to present the original version of their residence permit.

am.
Withdrawal from the advanced course must be communicated in writing and, if made before the start of the course,
entitles the interested party to a refund of the amount paid. However, an amount corresponding to 10% of the
enrolment fee, but not less than the minimum amount of € 51.65, will be retained by the University to cover
administration costs.
The training period cannot be suspended for any reason.
Students who fulfilled course requirements will receive an attendance certificate at the end of the course.

Pursuant to Legislative Decree 196/2003, the University will respect the confidentiality of information provided by
applicants: all data provided will be used only for purposes connected to the course and the management of the
interested party’s relationship with the University, in compliance with current regulations.
